These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and iwrite.email ("iwrite.email", "iwrite", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the iwrite.email website (the "Site") or any related tools, APIs, or services we provide (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (iwrite.email/privacy). If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Services for creating, editing, and exporting email templates and related assets. This license is for both personal and commercial use, provided you comply with these Terms.
These elements are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
You may use, modify, distribute, and commercialise such generated or uploaded content without attribution or royalties to iwrite.email, subject to third‑party rights and the restrictions below.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload, and that your content does not infringe any third‑party rights or laws. You remain solely responsible for that content.
Images shown in generated email templates are placeholders only. They are provided for illustrative purposes, may be subject to third‑party copyright, and are not cleared for production use. You must verify ownership or licensing before sending emails that include such images.
Icons supplied by the Services are provided under the MIT License for use within your templates; however, you may not redistribute or resell the icon set on its own. Including the icons as part of your finished email templates is permitted.
Email templates and code are generated by AI. It is your responsibility to ensure that any template or code is fit for your particular purpose, complies with relevant laws (including accessibility, CAN‑SPAM, CASL, GDPR, etc.), and functions correctly in your target email clients. iwrite.email disclaims all liability arising from your use of generated templates or code.
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Services (see Privacy Policy). We may analyse anonymised usage patterns to improve the Services. Enterprise customers may request an opt‑out from AI‑training uses of their data.
You agree not to:
iwrite.email is currently in beta. The Services may change frequently, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality at any time. These updates can result in the loss, corruption, or deletion of templates, code, or other data. You are solely responsible for backing up your work and maintaining local copies. iwrite.email bears no liability for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or costs (including lost profits or business interruption) resulting from data loss or alteration during the beta period.
THE SERVICES (INCLUDING ALL GENERATED CONTENT, CODE, TEMPLATES, IMAGES, AND ICONS) ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT GENERATED CODE WILL FUNCTION CORRECTLY IN ALL EMAIL CLIENTS.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, iwrite.email shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or (b) USD 100.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iwrite.email and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Services, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your infringement of any third‑party rights.
These Terms and your use of iwrite.email will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where iwrite.email is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
